According to gossip website TMZ, Selena sought help for a combination of problems, including alcohol, marijuana and prescription drug Ambien.
The ‘Come and Get It’ singer now regards Justin as a ‘bad influence’ on her life.
A source told RadarOnline.com: ‘Selena came to understand just what a bad influence Justin had been on her life. Their relationship left her broken-hearted.’
Another added: ‘I don’t know whether Justin pushed her to drug use, but amongst their close knit group of friends, smoking was common place.
‘Justin and Selena would smoke marijuana together regularly.’
Following her completion of the two-week programme, Selena is not believed to be receiving outpatient help or in therapy.
The brunette beauty had been due to tour Australia this month but axed the shows in December in order to focus on herself.
