CHAN 2014: Thumbs Up For Ejike Uzoenyi As He Emerges Best Player Of The Tournament


Enugu Rangers midfielder Chrisantus Ejike has been voted the Player of the just concluded African Nations Championship (CHAN) in South Africa, after his stellar performance helped the Super

 Eagles claim third position in their championship debut.

The 21-year-old, who came on a substitute in Saturday’s third-place match victory over the Warriors of Zimbabwe, notched up three goals in six appearances.

Ejike is also one of the three Nigerians named in the CHAN 2014 Best Eleven as well as Kano Pillars’ Rabiu Ali and Sunshine Stars’ Kunle Odunlami.

South Africa’s Bernard Parker claimed the golden boot with four goals.
