Galatasaray-Juventus Abandoned Match Due To Hailstorm
Galatasaray's Champions League clash with Juventus has been abandoned due to a hail storm disrupting play on Tuesday.
Portuguese referee Pedro Proenca was forced to call a halt to proceedings, with the score at 0-0, when adverse weather conditions left the pitch predominantly white.
Groundstaff attempted to clear the field to allow and play was delayed for around 20 minutes before a decision was made to ultimately call off the fixture.
Galatasaray and Juventus are both seeking to gain qualification from Group B as runners-up, with Real Madrid having already secured top spot and Copenhagen unable to qualify.
