Dortmund Delighted With Zenit Draw
Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachin Watzke says he has two reasons to be cheerful following the draw for the Champions League round of 16 on Monday.
The Schwarzgelben were handed a presentable opportunity to reach the quarter-final stage when they were paired against Russian outfit Zenit St Petersburg, whilst Bayern Munich were given a much sterner test against Premier League leaders Arsenal in a repeat of last season's encounter.
"The draw is absolutely okay with us," Watzke told reporters "But Zenit are a good side with good players, not just Hulk.
"We can also be satisfied with the results of the other German clubs, especially Bayern who got the draw you would not want after topping your group."
Dortmund will travel to St Petersburg for the first leg of the tie at Zenit's Petrovsky Stadium, before welcoming Luciano Spalletti's men back to the Signal Iduna Park for the decider in March.
