Super Eagles In High Spirit On Arrival In Ethiopia: PHOTOS
Super Eagles arrived at the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport alongside the other 240 persons en-route a chartered Ethiopian Airlines in the early hours of Saturday morning in high spirit to combat the Wayla Antelopes of Ethiopia on Sunday.
As the African Champions look to justify their pedigree against the die-hard Ethiopians, coach Sewnet Bishaw insists Nigeria's rating will count for nothing when both sides battles for one of the five tickets available for the African continent at next year's World soccer showpiece.
"Nigeria are very experienced and have a lot of talent and skill," Bishaw told BBC Sport. "But even though they have those qualities, we are at a good level and we will challenge them.
"Our players are young, fresh and have played against many professional players-they have come to understand that it is man against man, and they can beat any country if they work hard."
"I have to acknowledge the federation with all the plans they are putting together, we are very comfortable with it, and we are going to Ethiopia to get result that would make Nigerians proud," Keshi told reporters in Abuja on Thursday.
"As long as we don't lose the match, we would be okay. Having experienced the Confederations Cup in Brazil this year, I want to go back there for the 2014 World Cup proper.
