The weekly Federal Executive Council meeting did not hold on Wednesday (today). This was despite the fact that President Goodluck Jonathan who embarked on Christian pilgrimage to Israel last Wednesday has since returned to the country.
Though no official confirmation was given, protocol officers around and those at the media office confirmed that the FEC meeting has been shelved for today.
As at the time of filing this report, the Presidency has yet to give official reason for the cancellation of the meeting usually attended by ministers and top presidential aides.
