Coach Keshi To Recall Injury Prone Joel Obi
Super Eagles handler, Stephen Keshi has confirmed that he’ll be recalling AC Parma of Italy midfielder, Joel Obi for the return leg of the world cup qualifier against Ethiopia should he stay fit.
Keshi expressed regret for not having really worked with the injury prone player, but maintained that the on-loan Inter Milan man remains in his plans.
"I have tried on so many occasions to call Joel but I still can’t get through but I would really want to talk with him, the last time we spoke he was nursing an injury”
Keshi continues to perfect plans for the 1st leg 2014 World Cup play-offs against the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia on October 12th at the Addis Ababa international Stadium.
Keshi however maintained that the hope he can get to work with Joel Obi soon if he maintains his fitness.
The 2nd leg of the 2014 World Cup play-offs against the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia is billed for the e UJ Esuene stadium in Calabar in November.
